Crowding and open bite initial

This patient sought treatment after relapse from previous orthodontic therapy. Upon presentation, this patient exhibited an open bite tendency from poor tongue posture, narrow arch forms, upper and lower anterior crowding, and thin gums with the beginning signs of recession. Invisalign was the ideal appliance for correction of this case due to the gentle forces exerted, and hygienic features of the appliance.

This previously treated orthodontic case presented with anterior and bilateral posterior open bites from poor tongue posture leading to relapse. Invisalign was chosen to help close this patients’ bite down due to the control offered from the appliance to move the desired teeth that would close the bite down. Placing braces on this patient again may have actually made her open bite even worse…

This patient presented with poor oral hygiene, narrow upper and lower arch forms, recession of lower gingiva with bone loss, crowding of upper (moderate) and lower (severe) teeth, along with an open bite tendency. Invisalign was chosen due to its hygiein .

This patient presented with very narrow arches both upper and lower, with significant crowding, an deep overbite, a tooth size discrepancy due to multiple crowns of disproportionate sizes, and a class II bite. Invisalign was the only option for this patient, as braces were refused due to esthetics of the appliance.
