“At What Age Should My Child See An Orthodontist?”

One of the most frequent questions we are asked at Moshiri Orthodontics is, “At what age should I bring my child in to see you for an initial consultation?”  It is a great question for any parent to ask……and we have the answer for you.  According to the American Association of Orthodontics, it is recommended that  a child see an orthodontist by the age of 7 for an evaluation.

Many children will not need braces or Invisalign until around the age of 12, however there are early interceptive or  intervention treatment options during the 6-8 year ages that can decrease the severity of future issues.  It’s never too early to seek advice for a more beautiful smile for your child.
