The last couple of months have been a challenge for everyone. We know you have many questions, and we are here to answer all of them. In a few short weeks, we will reopen on May 18.

Learn more about the changes we have made to ensure your health and safety as well as the answers to other questions in this COVID-19 update.

When Will We Reopen?

May 18. You may schedule your appointments starting from that date now.

What Happened to Old Appointments?

All appointments before May 18 have been canceled. We will contact you to help you reschedule them.

What Are Your Office Hours?

Our temporary office hours until the end of June will be 7:30 am – 6:30 pm M-Th. All appointments will be spread out to continue social distance practices. Likewise, all staff and clinical assistants will also work in shifts to reduce the number of personnel and patients in the office at all times.

What Changes Have You Made to Improve Safety?

We are following the recommendations from the CDC, OSHA, and ADA to make our office the safest place possible. During the time we were closed, we also invested in additional equipment and training along with other improvements, including improved sterilization and ventilation to minimize the risk of infection and create an even safer environment than we had in the past.

Finally, all staff members will have enhanced personal protective equipment to improve the safety of care, including but not limited to the higher level filtration masks, face shields, and disposable gowns.

Do I Need To Do Anything?

We sent out a list of changes in an email. This email included three documents you need to sign.

These two forms that are posted together on our website should be signed electronically ASAP:

  • Supplemental Informed Consent

  • Updated Policies and Procedure

The third form will be sent via email and will need to be reviewed and signed electronically just before each visit to our office for the foreseeable future:

  • Supplemental Wellness Questionnaire

Please review these carefully and if you have any questions or need further clarification, contact us at info@smilesaintlouis.com

How Have Appointments Changed?

As always, we are here to provide you with the orthodontic care you need. But, for everybody’s safety, there are a few changes to our appointment procedure:

1.  You will use the East entrance of the building; there are a few Moshiri Orthodontics parking signs for your convenience in the East parking lot. When you arrive at our office, please stay in your car and text us at (314) 200-5569‬  to wait for instructions.
In your text, please include the make and model of your car.

        A.  If the appointment is for your child, one of our team members will come out and escort your child into our office. We kindly ask that                  only the patient enter our office to help us follow social distancing mandates.

2.  Please wear your own masks coming in and out of the building. You’ll also need to wash your hands immediately after entering.

3.  We will then give you a quick temperature check and review the Supplemental Wellness Questionnaire. If your temperature is above 100.4 deg F, then we will re-appoint you.

4.  You’ll do a quick rinse with a special hydrogen peroxide rinse. This helps keep everybody safe as we must assume everybody is an asymptomatic carrier and protect the well being of all our patients.

You’re ready to start your appointment!

Is There Anything Else I Need To Know?

That’s about it! Other than that, our tooth brushing area and movie/games are unfortunately closed for this period of time. Check back with us soon to see when we can open them again!

What Should I Do Now?

Please submit all these documents electronically asap. The sooner you do, the sooner we can go back to serving you!

I Still Have a Few More Questions
